We seek a qualified paralegal or experienced legal assistant with a minimum of five years' similar work history to join us in a fast-paced and heavy litigation environment. Must be proficient with all Microsoft 365 applications, Adobe, CLIO, adept at drafting pleadings, legal writing, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and counsel interaction.

Role Description

WOODS LAW OFFICES is seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal to join our on-site team in Oklahoma City, OK. The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for preparing legal documents, conducting document reviews, performing legal research, and assisting attorneys in managing and organizing case materials. Additional responsibilities will include drafting and filing pleadings, preparing motions, and supporting attorneys throughout case development and court proceedings. The ideal candidate will work closely with the legal team to ensure that deadlines are met and clients are well-informed throughout the litigation process.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and Document Review
  • Strong skills in Legal Research
  • Experience preparing and managing Pleadings and Motions
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Adept with direct client contact
  • Proficiency with legal software programs and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Associate’s degree or paralegal certification preferred; Bachelor’s degree is a plus
  • Prior experience as a litigation paralegal is strongly preferred
