How will you make an impact?

The primary responsibility of this position is to support manufacturing with respect to automated and semi-automatedmolding and assemblyequipment. This includes a variety of automated material handling, assembly,decoratingand packaging systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintaina safe work environment and followall siterules and regulations

  • Maintain 5S standards in working areas andsupportacross the site

  • Start up and run molding, automation, and packaging equipment

  • Respond tomachine, robot, TCU, and secondary equipment alarms

  • Initialandtroubleshootingand supportofmachine, mold,and material problems

  • Support production cells tomaintainOEE of 85% or greaterand scrap below 2%

  • Identifyactions to improve equipment efficiencyand support implementationofideas

  • Use RedzoneSoftwareto capture downtime and actionsrelated to improvement

  • Active participation indailyHuddles and standup meetings

  • Accurate completion of all paperworkin alignment with quality system standards

  • Completeline clearance, cleaning, and machine changeoversbetween and during runs

  • Make machine adjustments within running parameters tomaintainthroughput

  • Supportprocess and manufacturing engineering projects and activities

  • Responsible for all mold change activities, including mold set-up, mold break down, hose-making, machine prep, resin loader cleaning, resin loading

  • Support preventative maintenanceteamactivities

  • Other duties as requested

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability todetermineand implement solutions effectively

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

  • On-the-job training will be provided

Experience / Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant experience

  • Proven ability to analyze complex technical issues to the fundamental level and propose practical solutionspreferred

  • Experience with various PLC formats with heavy emphasis on Allen-Bradley PLC/HMI hardware and software: SLC, PLC,ContolLogix,Panelviewpreferred

  • Experience in injection moldingor similar manufacturing processespreferred

Education

  • High School Diploma or GEDrequired

  • PreferredAssociates degree in Engineeringora technicalfield. Equivalent experience will be considered, with a demonstrated record of self-development and continuous learning.
