About the Role

We’re hiring a Kitchen Manager for c in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity for a culinary leader who enjoys running kitchen operations, developing teams and maintaining high standards in a busy restaurant environment. You'll work closely with ownership and management to ensure food quality, operational efficiency and a great guest experience.


What You’ll Do

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and food production
  • Order food, supplies and ingredients based on business needs
  • Supervise, train and develop kitchen team members
  • Schedule kitchen staff and manage shift coverage
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct weekly inventory counts
  • Ensure food quality, consistency and presentation standards are met
  • Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with the General Manager on menu pricing and updates
  • Develop and execute daily specials and seasonal offerings
  • Maintain a clean, organized and efficient kitchen environment


What We’re Looking For

  • 3–7 years of kitchen leadership or management experience
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and food cost control
  • Experience training and supervising kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with scheduling and labor management preferred
  • Availability for nights, weekends and peak service periods
