Inside Sales & Customer Account Representative
Location: Columbia, TN / Holladay, TN Area
Schedule: Fully onsite during training, then hybrid schedule available
Compensation: Competitive base salary + bonus opportunity
Our client, a growing manufacturer of industrial coating equipment and finishing systems, is seeking an Inside Sales & Customer Account Representative to support customer relationships, generate new business opportunities, and help drive sales growth.
This is a highly visible role for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing customer accounts, and owning the sales process from initial inquiry through order completion.
Responsibilities
- Manage inbound customer inquiries and sales opportunities
- Conduct outbound prospecting and business development outreach
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Prepare quotes, pricing, and proposals for customers
- Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and generate additional revenue
- Partner closely with Customer Care and internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience
- Maintain accurate customer and sales activity records
- Support customers throughout the sales cycle from lead generation through order fulfillment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in inside sales, account management, customer success, business development, or customer service
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable making outbound calls and developing new business opportunities
- Experience preparing quotes, pricing, or proposals is a plus
- Self-starter who can thrive in a growing, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Manufacturing, industrial, equipment, construction, coatings, or technical product experience is a plus
