Inside Sales & Customer Account Representative

Location: Columbia, TN / Holladay, TN Area

Schedule: Fully onsite during training, then hybrid schedule available

Compensation: Competitive base salary + bonus opportunity

Our client, a growing manufacturer of industrial coating equipment and finishing systems, is seeking an Inside Sales & Customer Account Representative to support customer relationships, generate new business opportunities, and help drive sales growth.

This is a highly visible role for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing customer accounts, and owning the sales process from initial inquiry through order completion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound customer inquiries and sales opportunities
  • Conduct outbound prospecting and business development outreach
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Prepare quotes, pricing, and proposals for customers
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and generate additional revenue
  • Partner closely with Customer Care and internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales activity records
  • Support customers throughout the sales cycle from lead generation through order fulfillment

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in inside sales, account management, customer success, business development, or customer service
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and developing new business opportunities
  • Experience preparing quotes, pricing, or proposals is a plus
  • Self-starter who can thrive in a growing, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Manufacturing, industrial, equipment, construction, coatings, or technical product experience is a plus
