Relate Search has partnered with a rapidly growing, privately-held manufacturing organization seeking a hands-on HR Manager to lead the people function at one of its key plant locations.

The Role

This is the lead HR presence onsite, supporting a non-union manufacturing workforce of ~230 employees.


You’ll act as a true generalist and strategic partner, working closely with the GM and leadership team to build and strengthen the local HR function while supporting day-to-day operations.


Key areas of focus include:

  • Driving employee relations and serving as a trusted advisor to managers and employees
  • Leading onboarding, attendance management, and foundational HR processes
  • Supporting high-volume hiring in partnership with the TA team
  • Helping shape and reinforce a strong, positive site culture
  • Building scalable HR practices to support continued growth


What You’ll Bring

  • 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in manufacturing or a similar environment
  • Strong generalist background with deep employee relations experience
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and improving existing processes
  • A proactive, high-energy approach with a strong sense of urgency
  • Business acumen and a practical, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Ability to influence and partner effectively with plant leadership
  • Experience supporting hourly populations in a fast-paced setting
