Human Resources Manager | Hybrid 2-3x/week Corona, CA area | $100-130K base salary

Position Overview:
The Human Resources Manager serves as a strategic and hands-on partner to leadership, overseeing employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, performance management, and HR operations. This individual will help cultivate a positive workplace culture while ensuring the organization maintains compliant, consistent, and effective people practices across multiple locations. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with practical HR expertise and enjoys working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment where they can make a visible impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations & Leadership Support
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on workplace matters, performance concerns, policy interpretation, and employee development.
- Lead employee relations investigations and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Coach leaders through performance management, corrective action, conflict resolution, and organizational change initiatives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation.
- Support internal audits, reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Partner with leadership to identify and mitigate employment-related risks.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop effective hiring strategies and selection processes.
- Oversee onboarding programs that create a positive employee experience and accelerate productivity.
- Support workforce planning and talent development initiatives.
HR Operations & Systems
- Maintain HR systems, employee records, and reporting processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and track key HR metrics to support decision-making and organizational planning.
- Manage leave administration, employee status changes, and other core HR processes.
- Evaluate and improve HR workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Employee Engagement & Organizational Development
- Lead initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
- Support training and development programs aligned with organizational goals.
- Assist with succession planning and leadership development efforts.
- Partner with leadership to implement programs that enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Required Experience
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including employee relations and compliance responsibilities.
- Experience supporting multi-state employee populations.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and workplace investigations.
- Experience partnering directly with managers and senior leaders.
- Proven ability to balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day HR execution.
- MUST be local to the greater Corona, CA area – HYBRID onsite 2-3x/week
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Experience supporting international employees or global workforce initiatives.
- HRIS administration and reporting experience.
- Background in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, supply chain, or related industries.
