Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Business Partner based in Whitsett, NC. The HR Business Partner will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and ensuring adherence to labor and employment laws. Responsibilities will include facilitating performance management processes, providing counsel to leadership on HR matters, and supporting organizational development initiatives. Collaboration with employees and management to build a high-performance culture is a key focus of this role. There is some travel with this role, based on need.
Qualifications
- Expertise in HR Policies and general Human Resources (HR) practices.
- Understand production workflow, labor needs and skill requirements specific to wire harness assembly.
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and recruit skilled assemblers, technicians and support staff.
- Support annual performance review cycles and development planning
- Strong experience in Employee Relations and managing workplace dynamics effectively.
- Understanding of Labor and Employment Law to ensure organizational compliance, specific state laws as well as FMLA and ADA.
- Assist with annual compensation planning, benefit administration and HR and EHS reporting.
- Support audits related to ISO or customer specific requirements common in the wire harness industry.
- Skills in Performance Management to support career development and organizational goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- 2-4 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment is preferred
- Spanish language skills are a plus
