Position Purpose
Provides analytical support to Financial Advisors and Investment Group
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, economics, tax, or quantitative analysis preferred
- 0-2 years of prior work experience in the financial or investment field
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMEN
- Advanced user of MS Excel
- Experience performing financial and quantitative analysis
- Effectively prioritizes, communicates and manages workflow and meets deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Efficiently and accurately use proprietary computer programs and models
- Obtain client data and use it to effectively prepare financial analyses required to address the client's specific situation
- Prepare federal and state estimated income tax vouchers
- Maintain strong analytical skills in financial, numerical, economic and other areas of financial planning. Accurately assess what is important for each client, prepare written and oral reports concerning each client’s financial situation, and develops new ideas for client’s investment strategies
- Assist financial advisor in determining appropriate course of action regarding investments and taxes, when appropriate
- Send follow up letters to clients and respond to client calls, when appropriate
- Understand and communicate client performance reporting
- Ensure investment strategies are implemented
- Monitor client account transactions and objectives
- Oversee and ensure completion of meeting follow up tasks
- Complete forms, applications, wire transfers and investment trade requests
- Assist financial advisor with compliance measures
- Attend meetings with financial advisors and client(s), when appropriate
- Other duties as assigned
