About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking Intelligence Analyst to join our Corporate Security team based in San Diego, CA and Plano, TX. In this critical role, you will serve as the analytical backbone of our security operations, providing real-time threat monitoring, risk assessment, and actionable intelligence to protect our people, assets, facilities, and operations. You will leverage cutting-edge platforms including Ontic, Everbridge, and AI-driven tools — including the development and deployment of AI agents — to drive a proactive, intelligence-led security posture.
This role is ideal for a security professional who bridges traditional corporate security tradecraft with modern technology, and who is passionate about using artificial intelligence to solve complex threat problems.
Key Responsibilities
● Monitor global and regional risk events in real time using approved intelligence platforms including Ontic, Everbridge/Visual Command Center (VCC), Dataminr, Factal, and open-source intelligence (OSINT) tools.
● Conduct thorough OSINT research using credible news outlets, social media, public records, and commercial databases to identify emerging threats to personnel, facilities, and operations.
● Assess threats for credibility, severity, proximity, and potential impact, and escalate in accordance with established SOPs.
● Produce timely, accurate, and relevant written intelligence products including spot reports, situational awareness briefs, and weekly threat summaries.
● Conduct Person of Interest (POI) investigations and online threat assessments utilizing Ontic's Connected Intelligence platform, including geo-risk monitoring, case management, and identity resolution capabilities.
● Apply Operational Security (OPSEC) best practices throughout all OSINT and investigative workflows.
Platform Administration & Operations
● Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and power user for Ontic, managing the full lifecycle of cases, incidents, and POI investigations within the platform.
● Administer and operate Everbridge for emergency mass notifications, crisis communications, and traveler safety workflows; maintain accurate contact data and notification templates.
● Integrate Ontic and Everbridge with enterprise systems (access control, video surveillance, HR platforms) to create unified incident visibility.
Artificial Intelligence & Automation
● Design, build, and deploy AI agents to automate repetitive intelligence workflows, including threat triage, media monitoring, report generation, and alert classification.
● Develop and refine prompts, pipelines, and agentic workflows using large language models (LLMs) and low-code/no-code automation tools (e.g., n8n, Make, Microsoft Copilot Studio, or similar).
● Identify opportunities where AI and automation can solve physical security and intelligence challenges from anomaly detection to predictive threat modeling.
● Evaluate emerging agentic AI patterns including multi-agent coordination, tool use, and human-in-the-loop oversight; implement them as working systems within the security environment.
● Stay current on advances in AI/ML as applied to threat intelligence and corporate security use cases and brief leadership on implications and opportunities.
Crisis & Emergency Management
● Support the GSOC during critical events, natural disasters, and corporate emergencies including coordination with field security teams, physical security partners, and emergency services.
● Activate and manage Everbridge mass notification campaigns during emergencies; maintain playbooks for common notification scenarios.
● Conduct travel security reviews for executive and employee travel to elevated-risk locations; monitor travelers using relevant platforms and provide pre-travel briefings.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
● Deliver clear and concise written and verbal intelligence products to security leadership, HR, Legal, and Executive Protection teams.
● Maintain accurate and timely incident documentation in case management systems.
● Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, HR, Legal, Facilities, and Communications teams to ensure a holistic security posture.
Required Qualifications
● 3–7 years of experience in a corporate security, intelligence, law enforcement, military intelligence, or Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) environment.
● Demonstrated hands-on experience with Ontic (case management, POI investigations, geo-risk monitoring) and Everbridge (mass notification, VCC, or similar critical communications platforms).
● Proven track record of leveraging artificial intelligence tools in a security or intelligence context, including building or deploying AI agents or automated workflows.
● Strong OSINT skills; proficiency with commercial and open-source research tools
● Experience writing professional intelligence products: spot reports, threat assessments, situation reports, and executive briefings.
● Demonstrated ability to triage and prioritize multiple concurrent threats in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex threat data into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
● Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or ASIS Threat Management Certificate preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
● This is a full-time, hybrid position based in San Diego, California.
● May require work during non-business hours, on-call rotations, and response to critical incidents outside of standard hours.
● Ability to sit for extended periods while monitoring multiple screens and intelligence feeds.
● Some travel may be required for site assessments, training, or incident response support.
