This is a full-time, on-site role based in Summit, NJ, for a Financial Portfolio Planning Specialist

You will have exposure to many areas of financial services with a primary focus on creating Investment Proposals and conducting investment portfolio analysis for affiliated Financial Advisors using our proprietary technology platform. This is not a “Financial Analyst” position. This is focused on helping Independent Financial Advisors get properly Invested in the Stock Market.
Essential Job Functions: Inbound and outbound Client Service, Financial Holdings Review, Investment Proposal Generation & Planning, Quality Assurance, Internal Projects and Advisor Coaching & Training.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Meets with affiliated Advisors to collect client information and build strong relationships (Phone/Video).
· Works with affiliated Advisors in ensuring the proper forms are collected pre/post client meeting.
· Will be the primary interface between affiliated Advisors responsible for analyzing sensitive client information and inputting it into the Simplicity Wealth Platform.
· Services planning-related requests with a focus on providing a high quality & responsive experience.
· Extensive communication with internal and external clients using email and phone.
· Collaborates, Coaches, and answers Advisor questions via e-mail, video, and phone.
· Conducts educational Webinars to continue to educate and teach Advisors Planning best practices.
· Handles inbound calls to the Planning Team and addresses and resolves any Advisor needs.
· Handles Quality Assurance related to the Wealth Proposal as Tech is regularly updated.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree (Required)
· 3 full years of consecutive work experience
· Prior experience in a Financial Services capacity (RIA, IAR, Bank, Broker Dealer, Annuity, Life) (Required)
· Must be Tech Savvy: Strong Proficiency in Google Office Suite (Excel, Word, Drive, eMail, etc) (Required)
· Series 65, Series 66, Series 7, CFP, CHFc or willingness to obtain any of these.
· Passionate about the client experience and the financial services industry
· Favors direct communication & possesses an ability to receive constructive feedback.
· Able to uphold the firm’s purpose, vision, and values and has high ethical standards.
