Position: Family Law Attorney (Junior & Associate Level)

Location: Mountainside, NJ (On-site / Hybrid options)

Practice Area: Family Law / Matrimonial Litigation

Salary: $100k to 180k

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage family law files from inception through resolution (divorce, custody, child support, alimony, domestic violence, and prenuptial agreements).
  • Draft pleadings, motions, certifications, and legal memoranda.
  • Represent clients in court appearances, settlement conferences, oral arguments, and mediation.
  • Provide empathetic, clear, and strategic counsel to clients navigating sensitive life transitions.


Candidate Qualifications

  • Experience: 1+ years of family law experience (a family law/matrimonial judicial clerkship is highly valued, but we are open to more experienced attorneys looking for a better lifestyle).
  • Licensure: Admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey (required).
  • Skills: Strong legal research, writing, and courtroom presence, paired with high emotional intelligence and client-facing skills.


Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 – $180,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Additional Financial Incentives:

  • Monthly Commissions: Earn a direct percentage on any cases you bring into the firm.
  • Annual Performance Bonus: 2% – 5% based on merit and performance.
