Family Law Associate Attorney | $110K–$130K | No Billables | Chicago
A well-established Family Law firm in Chicago is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney (1–3 years of experience) to join its growing litigation team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney looking to build a long-term career in Family Law while receiving strong mentorship, hands-on case exposure, and real courtroom experience in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
• Assist with family law matters including divorce, child custody, parenting time, and support
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
• Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy
• Support attorneys with court appearances, hearings, and depositions
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Help manage case files, deadlines, and litigation timelines
Qualifications
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the Illinois Bar
• 1–3 years of legal experience (Family Law experience preferred but not required)
• Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Salary and Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 – $130,000.
Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
