About the Opportunity
Cambrae Business Strategies, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Data & Analytics Analyst to support the ODASW(Log) Equipment Directorate. This position is the dedicated data and analytics lead, owning ADVANA and other metrics development, Enterprise Logistics Management Systems (ELMS) formerly DPAS accountable and other property system of record data alignment, Notice of Findings & Recommendations (NFR)/Corrective Action Plan (CAP) data analysis, and Business Enterprise Architecture/Require-to-Retire process documentation. Critically, this position also performs duties in support of Financial Improvements and Audit Remediation (FIAR) operations, ensuring a single, authoritative source of data and analytics exists. The position provides direct, on-site support at the Mark Center, Alexandria, VA.
Key Responsibilities
ADVANA Analytics and Equipment Metrics
• Serve as the designated ADVANA platform lead for ODASW(Log), with primary ownership of all ADVANA metrics development, dashboard creation, and data analysis supporting equipment management operations
• Establish and monitor asset data metrics and analytics reported to ADVANA to identify trends, accountability risks, and audit exposures based upon policy and training gaps across Defense Agencies.
• Access ADVANA to review NFRs, CAPs, and dashboards; perform technical data analysis supporting audit remediation, risk management, and accountability activities for both equipment management and FIAR functions.
• Collect data and perform technical analysis, advising the Government on the most appropriate assessment methodologies; identify and recommend resolution for logistics issues; develop and report metrics.
• Validate metrics, identify data anomalies, and report on equipment management data collected from ELMS and ADVANA across Defense Agencies.
FIAR Support
• Supports FIAR operations, providing the FIAR team with equipment data analytics, NFR/CAP data sets, and ADVANA dashboard products that support financial audit remediation.
• Coordinate with FIAR/Audit Remediation team to ensure NFR/CAP data analysis products are current, accurate, and packaged for auditor response and Congressional correspondence support.
• Develop and maintain a single, integrated ADVANA analytics framework that serves both equipment accountability and FIAR audit remediation requirements, eliminating redundant analytical work across teams.
Architecture, Standards, and Validation
• Update the Defense-wide Business Enterprise Architecture for Receive to Retire (R2R, formerly Acquire to Retire), including process control narratives and process flow documentation.
• Support the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) program documenting a Department-wide standard for verifying asset record health and reliability within property systems of record.
• Develop and maintain equipment management performance dashboards providing senior leadership with visibility into program health, compliance trends, and audit readiness across Defense Agencies.
Reporting and Stakeholder Support
• Prepare ADVANA analytics briefings, metrics reports, and technical data summaries for Equipment Directorate and FIAR senior leadership.
• Coordinate with Defense Agency data managers and FIAR team on ELMS/APSR data quality, ADVANA access, and analytics requirements.
• Support the annual NFR/CAP summation by compiling and analyzing equipment data metrics from ADVANA and ELMS across Defense Agencies.
• Attend weekly Equipment Directorate status briefings and document action items related to data and analytics task areas.
Required Qualifications
• Active SECRET security clearance required at time of onboarding; must be maintained throughout the period of performance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is highly preferred.
• At least 5–8 years of experience in DoW equipment data management, logistics analytics, or FIAR data analysis.
• Demonstrated proficiency with the ADVANA analytics platform, including dashboard development, NFR/CAP review, and metrics reporting.
• Experience with ELMS/DPAS APSR data quality assessment, anomaly identification, and data reconciliation across Defense Agencies.
• Familiarity with DoW audit remediation framework, NFR/CAP lifecycle, and FIAR data requirements.
• Demonstrated experience developing written analyses, briefings, and presentations for senior Government stakeholders (GS-15/SES equivalent).
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to translate complex findings into clear, actionable executive products.
• Knowledge of DoW acquisition regulations, FIAR guidance, and DoD financial management frameworks as applicable to the assigned function.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA/R2R) documentation, process flow development, and IV&V methodology.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and data visualization platforms used in DoW logistics and financial management contexts.
• Experience supporting cross-functional data programs that serve both logistics and FIAR requirements simultaneously.
Work Location and Conditions
• Primary duty location: Mark Center, Alexandria, VA. NCR travel to the Pentagon may be required; NCR travel is not reimbursable.
• Core hours: 0900–1500 EST, Monday–Friday (excluding Federal holidays). Standard workday of 8 hours; earliest start 0630, latest end 1730.
• This position requires onsite presence between 0800 and 1630 each business day except when on approved leave or approved telework.
