Job Overview
Future Problem Solving is seeking a collaborative, organized, and future-focused leader to serve as our next Engagement Manager. This role plays a central part in strengthening engagement, participant experiences, and program visibility across our global network of regional affiliates and partners in more than 12 countries and 33 U.S. states.
The Engagement Manager will help support and evolve the experiences that connect students, educators, coaches, Affiliate Directors, alumni, and partners to Future Problem Solving’s mission of developing critical and creative thinking skills through future-focused learning experiences.
This cross-functional role blends relationship management, educational program support, communications, event leadership, and digital engagement. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and systems thinker who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple moving pieces, improving experiences, and helping mission-driven programs grow and adapt in a rapidly evolving educational and technology landscape.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
3+ years of professional experience in education, nonprofit leadership, stakeholder engagement, communications, program management, event coordination, curriculum support, community engagement, or related fields preferred.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with educators, students, volunteers, nonprofit leaders, and global stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and moving pieces simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking, presentation, and facilitation experience.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically while also executing day-to-day operational details with strong follow through.
Comfort working across evolving technology platforms and digital tools, including CRM systems, content management systems, virtual event platforms, and collaborative work environments.
Curiosity and adaptability in navigating emerging educational, technology, and communication trends.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams while also operating independently and taking initiative in ambiguous or evolving situations.
Passion for future-focused education, student empowerment, critical and creative thinking, and mission-driven work.
Experience supporting conferences, training programs, volunteer communities, affiliate/franchise-style networks, or distributed organizations is beneficial.
Experience with HubSpot, Canva, WordPress, social media management, email marketing, educational technology, virtual learning environments, or digital content development is a plus.
