San Francisco, CA – Marketing Manager (Part-Time)

LHH has a client who needs a San Francisco, CA – Marketing Manager will support a program for high-growth startups, bringing together founders, operators, and VC partners through events, content, and community to deepen engagement and drive new logo growth. This role will serve as the primary execution lead across events, founder community, and marketing partnerships.


What You'll Do:

  • Events & Campaign Management
  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of Launchpad events, including founder/CXO dinners, breakfasts, Dreamforce, and other community engagements.
  • Manage event logistics, timelines, invitations, registrations, and onsite coordination.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and partner teams to ensure seamless event execution and alignment with business objectives.
  • Support Launchpad integration into larger marketing activations and industry conferences through scalable event programs.
  • Coordinate event-related marketing campaigns across email, social media, and paid channels in partnership with SMB Marketing teams.
  • Community Engagement & Growth
  • Manage and grow the Launchpad founder community through Slack and other engagement channels.
  • Oversee day-to-day community operations, including content posting, moderation, member engagement, and support.
  • Coordinate monthly office hours, networking opportunities, and community programs.
  • Develop and distribute community-focused content, announcements, resources, and event communications.
  • Monitor engagement metrics and community growth, providing insights and recommendations for continued expansion.
  • VC Partnerships & Ecosystem Support
  • Assist in expanding Launchpad’s reach through venture capital firms, startup ecosystems, and marketplace partnerships.
  • Coordinate partner communications, outreach initiatives, and follow-up activities.
  • Maintain accurate partnership databases, trackers, and marketplace records.
  • Support co-marketing opportunities, including newsletters, community spotlights, and collaborative events.
  • Track partnership activity and maintain visibility into pipeline progress and opportunities.
  • Reporting & Operational Excellence
  • Maintain weekly reporting across events, community engagement, and partnership initiatives.
  • Ensure data accuracy for campaign performance, event registrations, and participant tracking.
  • Support forecasting activities, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and executive reporting.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement operational efficiencies.
  • Operate independently while maintaining clear and consistent communication with stakeholders.


What You Bring:

  • Experience in B2B marketing, event management, community engagement, startup programs, or venture capital ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from concept through execution while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Hands-on experience managing online communities using Slack or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and process management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, partnerships, and operations.
  • Experience coordinating marketing campaigns and event-related promotional activities.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience tracking KPIs, reporting metrics, and maintaining operational dashboards.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for startups, entrepreneurship, founder communities, and ecosystem development.



📍 Location: San Francisco, CA

💵 Pay: $65–$70/hr.
