Precision Bench Assembly

Payrate: Pay: $19-$24.50 based on experience

About the Role

As an Electrical Assembler, you’ll play a direct role in building critical aircraft lighting and safety products used on commercial flights every day. Working in a clean, quiet, and static-controlled environment, you’ll perform detailed bench-level electrical assembly involving small components, tight tolerances, and exact specifications. Your precision and attention to detail help ensure passengers stay safe, comfortable, and connected while in the air.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, technical assembly, and producing high-quality, mission-critical products in a structured manufacturing setting.

What You’ll Do
  • Read and interpret work orders, schematics, blueprints, and production drawings to ensure accurate assembly
  • Position, align, and secure parts using jigs, fixtures, and hand tools
  • Perform detailed electrical assembly tasks including crimping, soldering, riveting, bolting, and press-fitting
  • Mount electrical components to panels and install sub-assemblies into housings per specification
  • Install hardware such as caps, clamps, knobs, switches, and fasteners to complete finished units
  • Safely use soldering equipment, hand tools, and light machinery
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bench workspace in compliance with manufacturing standards
  • Follow written and verbal instructions to ensure product quality and consistency
  • Work primarily independently at your bench while collaborating with team members and leads as needed
  • Inspect your work for accuracy and quality, identifying and resolving basic assembly issues

Work Environment & Schedule

This position is based in a well-lit, temperature-controlled, and static-controlled production facility. You’ll primarily work at an individual bench, with a team lead or supervisor nearby for support. The environment is very quiet and designed for precision electrical assembly using hand tools, soldering equipment, and light machinery. Due to static-control requirements, some areas may have increased humidity.

The schedule rotates between:

  • Week 1: Monday–Thursday (9-hour days) and Friday (8-hour day)
  • Week 2: Monday–Thursday only

Most work is performed independently, allowing focus on detailed assembly tasks while still being part of a collaborative manufacturing team.
