Job Title: Mechanical Assembly - Heavy Industrial Equipment - Chassis Prep

Job Description

The role involves the mechanical assembly of heavy equipment components. You will utilize blueprints to assemble body components and electrical wiring, focusing on the electromechanical and side body components of trucks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical assembly of heavy equipment components.
  • Utilize blueprints for accurate assembly of body components and electrical wiring.
  • Assemble all chassis electromechanical and side body components of trucks.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with mechanical assembly.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read tape measure and blueprint style work instructions.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with impact tools, hydraulic hose assembly, running electrical wire, assembling mechanical structures, reading blueprints or schematics.
  • Experience in automotive service and repair or heavy equipment maintenance is ideal.
  • Familiarity with automotive maintenance, mechanical assembly, hydraulics, engine repair, 12 volt electrical, wiring harness, diesel engine, and construction equipment.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a non-temperature-controlled facility, which remains comfortable, clean, and safe. 3 Shifts available and overtime up to 60-70 hours per week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LaFayette, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
