Compensation: $70,000 – $75,000/year + bonus eligibility

Atlantic Group is hiring an Education Recruiter (School Staffing) in New York, NY to support high-volume school staffing across NYC educational environments. This agency-side recruiting role focuses on sourcing, screening, and placing paraprofessionals, teacher aides, and classroom support staff for active school-based openings. You will leverage Bullhorn ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and major job boards to build candidate pipelines, manage fast-moving requisitions, and support ongoing staffing needs across school settings.
Responsibilities as the Education Recruiter (School Staffing):
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Source, screen, interview, and place paraprofessionals, teacher aides, and school support staff across active school-based assignments.
- High-Volume Staffing: Manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced staffing environment supporting ongoing school hiring needs.
- Candidate Sourcing: Recruit education support professionals through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, community outreach, and staffing pipelines.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified paraprofessionals and teacher aides ready for immediate placement.
- Compliance & Onboarding: Coordinate onboarding processes including background checks, credential verification, and documentation requirements.
- School Staffing Coordination: Partner with internal recruiting teams and school contacts to support timely candidate placements and staffing coverage.
Qualifications for the Education Recruiter (School Staffing):
- Experience: 2+ years of agency staffing experience recruiting paraprofessionals, teacher aides, or school support staff for NYC schools is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Demonstrates understanding of school-based staffing, onboarding requirements, credentialing, and high-volume education recruiting workflows.
- Technical Skills: Experience using Bullhorn ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and major job boards for candidate sourcing and pipeline management is required.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage high candidate volume in a fast-paced staffing environment.
- Staffing Background: Prior experience within temporary staffing, agency recruiting, or education staffing environments is required.
