Duration: 6 Months Contract (Potential Extension)

Pay Rate: $25–$28/hour on W2


Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Services Specialist II – Customer Order & Fulfillment to support order management, logistics coordination, and operational continuity. This role is critical to ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and fulfilled on time while supporting procurement, logistics, and operations teams in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in order management, logistics, supply chain operations, or customer fulfillment and possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Order Management

  • Process and manage customer orders from entry through fulfillment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of orders to prevent revenue disruptions.
  • Provide primary or backup coverage for order management activities during staffing shortages.
  • Monitor order pipelines and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, and fulfillment issues.
  • Maintain accurate order records and system updates.

Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including manual pickup creation when necessary.
  • Support procurement and buying teams by executing logistics tasks when system access is unavailable.
  • Collaborate with internal logistics teams, suppliers, and transportation carriers to ensure efficient delivery operations.
  • Track shipments and troubleshoot delivery issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

Buyer & Stakeholder Support

  • Serve as a key support resource for procurement and buying teams.
  • Respond to order-related inquiries and provide shipment status updates.
  • Resolve order and logistics issues through cross-functional collaboration with operations, logistics, and procurement teams.

Process Improvement & Operational Support

  • Identify inefficiencies in order management and logistics workflows and recommend process improvements.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure data accuracy within ERP systems.
  • Support business continuity efforts and operational coverage plans during employee absences or staffing gaps.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in:
  • Order Management
  • Logistics Coordination
  • Supply Chain Operations
  • Operations Support
  • Experience coordinating shipments and scheduling pickups.
  • Understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) and/or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
  • Ability to manage high-volume transactional workloads with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting both order management and logistics functions.
  • Exposure to supplier and vendor coordination.
  • Experience working with manual processes or workarounds during system limitations.
  • Ability to quickly learn processes and work independently with minimal supervision.
