Job Summary
The Customer Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customers, responsible for building, managing, and strengthening long-term client relationships while ensuring customer expectations and company commitments are consistently met. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, resolving issues, and delivering a high level of service and support to drive customer satisfaction. The Customer Accounts Manager collaborates closely with internal teams to coordinate order processing, problem resolution, technical support, and new product launches, including line extensions and portfolio changes. Acting as a key advocate for the customer, the role ensures clear communication, effective project coordination, and successful delivery of products and services.
Essential Functions:
- Manage all aspects of customer support and account management, both internally and externally, to ensure customer expectations and company commitments are met. This includes order processing, issue resolution, general customer service, and coordination of new product launches for Line extensions and changes to customer product portfolios.
- Oversee order processing, sample shipments, and follow-up activities to ensure accuracy, timely delivery, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate and manage all customer-related projects, serving as the primary project lead and liaison between customers and internal departments.
- Review and ensure all purchase order documentation complies with established company processes, policies, and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and internal teams. Communicate regularly and effectively with Purchasing, Scheduling, Production, Quality, and Sales to ensure customer requirements and sales objectives are achieved.
- Provide proactive and ongoing communication to customers regarding order status, shipments, project updates, production schedules, and any changes or delays
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Five (5) years minimum proven experience in project management and/or customer service management.
- Experience in FDA regulated industry and solid understanding of cGMPs preferred.
- Impeccable customer service focus with outstanding people skills – outgoing, friendly, diplomatic, patient, tactful, and concise.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management skills. Strong ability to track, perform, and report on multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform effectively in a stressful and fast-paced environment while maintaining a relentlessly positive, team-oriented attitude, and professional demeanor.
- Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision.

- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
