The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an Account Manager to take ownership of an established territory in the Salt Lake City market. This role is ideal for a driven outside sales professional who enjoys building relationships, winning new business, and spending time in front of customers rather than behind a desk.

You'll inherit an existing customer base while also being expected to prospect and develop new accounts. Success in this role comes from being proactive, competitive, persistent, and committed to delivering value to customers over the long term.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an established book of business
  • Prospect and develop new customer relationships throughout the territory
  • Sell equipment, rentals, service agreements, parts programs, batteries, and automation solutions
  • Conduct regular customer visits and identify new opportunities
  • Manage the sales process from initial contact through close
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer support
  • Maintain CRM activity and territory plans

What We're Looking For

  • Proven success in outside sales, B2B sales, or business development
  • Strong hunter mentality and confidence in cold calling and prospecting
  • Ability to build relationships and earn trust with customers
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable working independently
  • Strong communication and follow-through skills
  • Industrial, equipment, construction, manufacturing, or material handling sales experience is a plus
