Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian Staff member to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows cleaning protocols, and contributes to the overall appearance and functionality of the facility.


Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways, gowning area, and common areas
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
  • Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
  • Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
  • Keep parking lot free and clear of debris
  • Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors as assigned
  • Follow safety procedures, EH&S, food safety, and GMP and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to a supervisor
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and checklists
  • Occasionally perform deep cleaning or special projects as needed
  • Vacuum, mop, and scrub production floor
  • Dust warehouse pallet racks
  • Remedial office tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good time management and reliability
  • Ability to work well with minimal supervision
  • English proficiency preferred


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Comfortable using cleaning tools and equipment


Work Schedule

  • Part Time: 4 hours per day; up to 24 hours per week
  • Day Shift – 1st
  • Weekdays, with one Saturday a month


Compensation

  • Pay range: $20–$22 per hour
