Chitra is seeking a highly skilled Information Assurance Technician / Information Security Engineer to support mission-critical Military Intelligence systems and ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity requirements. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, security compliance, vulnerability management, COMSEC operations, and system security assessments.

Key Responsibilities Authority to Operate (ATO) & RMF Compliance
- Lead cybersecurity efforts supporting Military Intelligence functional areas
- Ensure systems comply with DoD cybersecurity policies, RMF requirements, and industry best practices
- Maintain and support Authority to Operate (ATO) packages and accreditation activities
Assessment & Authorization (A&A) Documentation
- Develop, review, and maintain critical security documentation, including
- System Security Plans (SSPs)
- Security Concepts of Operations (CONOPS)
- Risk Assessments
- Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms)
- Ensure documentation aligns with NIST 800-53 security controls and compliance standards
Vulnerability Management & Remediation
- Conduct security scans across Network Environments (NE) and Computing Environments (CE).
- Analyze vulnerability scan results and identify security weaknesses
- Prepare remediation reports and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks
- Strengthen remote access security and defend against potential cyber threats and intrusions
COMSEC & Cryptographic Operations.
- Serve as the Communications Security (COMSEC) Custodian.
- Configure, maintain, update, and troubleshoot TACLANE encryption devices across multiple secure enclaves.
- Ensure continuous, secure communications for mission-critical customers and stakeholders.
Security Monitoring, Auditing & Forensics.
- Utilize audit reduction, forensic analysis, and vulnerability assessment tools to monitor system security.
- Investigate security events and support incident response activities.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance the cybersecurity posture of intelligence systems Desired Qualifications.
- Experience supporting DoD cybersecurity programs and RMF implementation.
- Strong knowledge of NIST 800-53, DoD cybersecurity policies, and A&A processes.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and remediation efforts.
- Hands-on expertise with TACLANE devices and COMSEC management.
- Familiarity with security auditing, computer forensics, and threat vulnerability assessment tools.
- Active security clearance required.
