Job Title: Junior Corporate Associate (Finance)
Location: Washington D.C.
Salary: $225,000 – $260,000
About the Firm:
I'm partnering with a leading global law firm with a top-tier Corporate and Finance practice, consistently ranked in the Am Law Global 100 and regularly recognised as a go-to advisor for complex leveraged finance and cross-border transactions. The firm advises many of the world’s largest banks, private equity sponsors, and corporates on high-value financing matters, with deal experience spanning syndicated lending, acquisition finance, and asset-based lending. The group is part of a global platform handling billions in annual transaction value, with strong market presence across the U.S. and international finance markets.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Drafting and reviewing financing documents, including credit agreements, guarantees, and security packages
- Supporting transactions from origination through closing, tracking conditions and deliverables
- Preparing closing sets including certificates, resolutions, legal opinions, and ancillary documents
- Working with lenders, borrowers, and deal teams on syndicated, acquisition, and asset-based financings
- Supporting senior associates and partners on complex, high-value financing transactions
What They’re Looking For:
- 1–3 years of experience in lender-side and/or borrower-side financing transactions
- Experience with syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, or asset-based lending
- Strong drafting and document review skills in credit and financing documentation
- Familiarity with end-to-end closing processes and structured deal workstreams
- Strong academic credentials, attention to detail, and a proactive, deal-oriented mindset
