A globally recognized Am Law firm is seeking a Capital Markets Associate Attorney to join its New York office. This prestigious firm is known for its sophisticated transactional platform and international reach, advising clients on complex equity and debt capital markets transactions across industries.
This Capital Markets Associate Attorney role offers the opportunity to work on high-value IPOs, follow-on offerings, and cross-border deals while collaborating with leading practitioners across multiple jurisdictions. The role is ideal for a mid-level Corporate Associate seeking a partner-track position in one of the most competitive New York legal jobs markets. Key Responsibilities
• Advise issuers, underwriters, investors, and financial institutions on capital markets transactions
• Work on IPOs, follow-on offerings, private placements, and debt offerings
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including registration statements and underwriting agreements
• Support public company clients with SEC reporting and disclosure obligations
• Coordinate transaction execution with partners, clients, and cross-functional teams
• Collaborate on M&A and strategic transactions, including acquisitions and joint ventures
• Manage multiple sophisticated transactions simultaneously with precision

Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience as a Corporate Associate Attorney or Capital Markets Attorney
• Strong background in equity and/or debt capital markets transactions
• Admission to the New York Bar (NY Bar required) or eligibility to become admitted
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Familiarity with SEC reporting and disclosure requirements
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Client-focused mindset with a collaborative approach
• International or cross-border experience is a plus

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or LL.M./foreign equivalent from an accredited law school
