A well-established and growing law firm in Uniondale, NY is seeking a Senior Corporate / M&A Associate Attorney to join its sophisticated corporate practice. The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling corporate and M&A matters and the ability to independently lead transactions from inception through closing with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mergers and acquisitions, including drafting and negotiating purchase agreements and ancillary documents
- Advise clients on corporate governance, structuring, and general business matters
- Conduct due diligence and oversee transaction processes
- Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure successful deal execution
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the growth of the corporate practice
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in corporate law, with a strong focus on M&A transactions
- Demonstrated ability to manage transactions independently
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Excellent client communication and relationship management abilities
- Admission to the New York Bar required
Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $225,000 – $275,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
