Job Title: Contract Specialist III – IT Software
Location: On-site (Bartlesville, OK or Houston, TX)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Contract Specialist III to support the procurement and lifecycle management of IT software agreements. This role is responsible for handling the full contract lifecycle, including solicitation, negotiation, execution, and post-award administration of software-related contracts.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in high-volume contract negotiation, contract drafting/redlining, and managing diverse IT software agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the solicitation, negotiation, award, and administration of IT software contracts.
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities with a focus on efficient contract execution.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various agreement types, including:
- Master Agreements
- Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Proof of Concept (POC) agreements
- Perform post-execution contract administration, including issue resolution and compliance monitoring.
- Support invoice resolution and ensure alignment with contractual terms.
- Conduct sourcing events (e.g., RFPs) using approved procurement tools.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to streamline contracting workflows.
- Manage multiple contract assignments while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement.
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks while optimizing total cost of ownership.
- Maintain proper documentation and contract files in compliance with retention policies.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure adherence to company policies and applicable regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 10+ years of experience negotiating IT software contracts.
- Proven expertise in:
- High-volume contract environments
- Contract redlining and drafting
- Negotiation of terms and conditions (T&Cs)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in procurement within the energy or industrial sector.
- Working knowledge of procurement and contract management systems (e.g., SAP, Icertis).
- Strong understanding of IT software procurement channels, including:
- OEMs
- Resellers
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
