Contract Specialist (Distribution/Manufacturing)

John Evans Recruiting is conducting a search for a Contract Specialist for a building products distribution company in Columbia, MD. This $200M organization serves many industries in the Northeast as a manufacturer’s rep for industrial and commercial building products.

The Contract Specialist role is newly created to support the CFO in managing contracts with manufacturers, customers, and vendors. The Contract Specialist will interact daily with the CFO, a Sr. Accountant, with 15+ salespeople, and often with the CEO in this 300-employee company.

Requirements:

• 3+ years in contracts administration experience.
• Support for contracts in a distribution, supply chain, wholesale, or manufacturing company is strongly desired.
• Ability to work onsite in Columbia, MD 5 days a week, with hours of 8am-5pm + a 1 hour lunch.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, to include a financial background check in order to work on the accounting/finance team.
