Job Title: Collections Specialist

Pay Rate: $30-$32/hour

Location: Draper, UT (Hybrid)

Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Hybrid Schedule: Two days onsite each week (Tuesday and Thursday)

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Collections Specialist to contribute to a high-performing team while supporting critical business objectives.


Position Overview

The Collections Specialist will support the Collections team in executing strategic and operational initiatives across multiple business entities. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end collections process, reviewing customer accounts, developing effective collection strategies, and driving successful recovery efforts while maintaining positive customer relationships.

The ideal candidate will bring strong collections experience, excellent analytical skills, and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute collection activities for assigned customer accounts.
  • Analyze account status and determine the most effective collection strategy.
  • Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment resolutions.
  • Investigate account discrepancies and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate account records and collection documentation.
  • Contribute to team initiatives focused on improving collection performance and operational efficiency.
  • Support achievement of key financial and revenue recovery targets.


Required Qualifications

  • 1–2+ years of direct collections experience.
  • Experience in eCommerce, payments, financial services, or a related industry preferred.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and resolve conflicts in a dynamic environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of payment processing methods including ACH, checks, digital wallets, international payments, virtual cards, and credit cards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.
