Job Description:
Our client in the NE Metro is seeking a Buyer to manage the purchasing of materials, parts, and supplies needed to support manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for issuing purchase orders, maintaining vendor relationships, tracking deliveries, and helping ensure inventory levels align with production needs. Based on general knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase materials and supplies to support production. Based on general knowledge.
- Issue and track purchase orders. Based on general knowledge.
- Communicate with vendors on pricing, delivery, and order issues. Based on general knowledge.
- Monitor inventory levels and help avoid shortages. Based on general knowledge.
- Partner with internal teams including production and warehouse. Based on general knowledge.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records in ERP/MRP systems. Based on general knowledge.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of buying or purchasing experience in manufacturing preferred. Based on general knowledge.
- ERP/MRP experience. Based on general knowledge.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Based on general knowledge.
