We're Hiring: Business Systems Analyst – Healthcare Operations

About the Role
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a leading organization in the public healthcare sector. This role supports critical initiatives across Enrollment and Member/Provider Services, focusing on system implementation, testing, data validation, and post-go-live stabilization.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in healthcare operations, business systems analysis, UAT testing, and cross-functional collaboration across business, IT, and vendor teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support system implementation and operational readiness activities
- Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and system validation
- Validate data migration across enrollment, member, demographic, and provider datasets
- Track, triage, and manage defects through resolution
- Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Coordinate across Enrollment and Member/Provider Services teams to ensure alignment
- Support workflow optimization and business process improvements
- Perform data quality checks and reconciliation activities
- Act as a liaison between business operations, IT, and vendors
- Support post-implementation stabilization and continuous improvement efforts
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Healthcare Systems Analyst
- Background in healthcare payer, managed care, health plan, or healthcare operations
- Strong experience in UAT, system testing, defect management, and requirements analysis
- Experience supporting system implementation and operational support initiatives
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HealthRules Payer (HRP)
- Experience with GuidingCare
- Exposure to Enrollment, Eligibility, Member Services, or Provider Services
- Experience in large-scale healthcare system implementations
