Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support a major healthcare payer transformation initiative involving system implementation, migration, and post-go-live stabilization. This role serves as a key liaison between Enrollment, Member Services, Provider Services, IT, and external vendors to ensure successful deployment and ongoing support of enterprise healthcare platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong healthcare payer experience, particularly in enrollment operations, and a proven track record supporting large-scale system implementations and migrations.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience in healthcare payer or managed care environments
  • Hands-on experience with Enrollment operations (required)
  • Experience supporting large-scale system implementations, conversions, and migrations
  • Strong background in UAT, regression testing, defect management, and data validation
  • Experience working with member, provider, eligibility, enrollment, and demographic data
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with business, operations, IT, and vendor teams
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities

System Implementation & Migration

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and system validation activities
  • Validate enrollment, member, provider, eligibility, and demographic data migrations
  • Revie-w system configurations for accuracy, completeness, and business alignment
  • Track, triage, and coordinate resolution of system defects and issues
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Support operational readiness, training, and go-live activities

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Align requirements across Enrollment and Member/Provider Services teams
  • Coordinate workflow and process changes impacting multiple departments
  • Identify and resolve process gaps, duplications, and integration issues
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors
  • Ensure system requirements and configurations support operational objectives

Post-Go-Live Support

  • Provide ongoing system maintenance and operational support
  • Perform data quality reviews, audits, and reconciliation activities
  • Support continuous process improvement and workflow optimization initiatives
  • Serve as a liaison for system enhancements, releases, and issue resolution
  • Preserve and maintain implementation documentation and institutional knowledge
  • Help ensure a positive member and provider experience through operational continuity and system accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field
  • Experience with HealthRules Payer (HRP)
  • Experience with GuidingCare
  • Experience supporting healthcare enrollment, eligibility, member services, provider services, or care management functions
  • Knowledge of healthcare payer operations, claims, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in post-implementation stabilization and production support environments
