Job Title: Billing Associate


This position will be responsible for managing the invoicing of our clients and helping assist with recovery of outstanding account balances from unpaid invoices. This position requires a combination of customer service and financial acumen to support the markets within our business and their clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate invoicing and customized billing for our clients by coordinating with our various markets’ sales teams and sales leadership
  • Review and approve billing setup for new placements and assist with auditing bill rates, VMS fees, volume discounts, etc. according to the MSA/PSA
  • Perform regular analysis on Purchase Orders and SOWs to track funding utilization for markets
  • Review and manage account balances to identify outstanding debts and initiate collections process
  • Research unpaid invoices, determine root cause, and perform appropriate follow action with professional communication and consistent follow ups
  • Prepare regular reports on collection activity and account status to provide to Billing Manager
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and other HQ support departments, client success managers to improve overall customer satisfaction and reduce delinquencies


Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 1+ years of prior work experience (Any area but preference for customer service or finance/accounting roles)
  • Excellent communication skills in all channels (Teams, email, phone call, video call, etc.)
  • Proficiency with navigating standard computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • High level of professionalism and patience when dealing with challenging situations
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
