Majic Productions is a sound, video, and lighting production company that specializes in creative and custom events and systems integration. Our systems integration team designs, installs, and supports technology systems that combine sound, video, lighting, and control components into one cohesive solution. They create customized setups for spaces such as conference rooms, churches, and auditoriums.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Systems Integration Sales role is responsible for generating new business and managing client relationships from initial engagement through contract execution. This individual will lead discovery conversations, develop solutions in collaboration with internal teams, present proposals, and close sales aligned with Majic’s financial and operational goals. This role works closely with the Vice President of Systems Integration and the Director of Business Development to support the growth of Majic’s Systems Integration division, expand market presence, and deliver a high-quality client experience throughout the sales process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach
- Lead client discovery conversations to define project scope, technical requirements, budget, and timeline
- Develop and communicate preliminary budgets and rough order of magnitude estimates to guide early project direction
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop accurate and competitive system solutions
- Prepare and present proposals that clearly communicate scope, pricing, and differentiation from our competition
- Manage opportunities from initial contact through contract execution
- Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline aligned with individual sales targets
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunity data, forecasts, and client records within CRM
- Provide consistent follow-up to advance opportunities through the sales cycle
- Partner with operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to execution
- Participate in internal pipeline reviews and forecasting discussions
- Represent Majic professionally in all client and partner interactions

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Achieves or exceeds individual revenue and gross margin targets
- Maintains a healthy, qualified pipeline to support consistent sales performance
- Demonstrates reliable CRM usage and forecast accuracy
- Successfully closes projects aligned with company margin and operational expectations
- Periodically checks in with client through the project process and following closeout to obtain feedback, ensure satisfaction, and promote additional sales.
- Builds long-term client relationships resulting in repeat business and referrals
- Delivers a high-quality, responsive, and professional client experience
- Effectively manages multiple opportunities through the full sales cycle
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- 3–5+ years of experience in commercial AV or systems integration, with sales experience preferred
- Demonstrated success in developing new business and closing complex integration projects
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder sales (end users, consultants, architects, contractors, etc.)
- Working knowledge of AV systems and applications across key verticals such as corporate, house of worship, and performance spaces
- Ability to translate client needs into technical solutions and clearly communicate value
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Experience using CRM and proposal tools (e.g., D-Tools, Hubspot, or similar platforms)
