We’re hiring: Senior Audio Visual (AV) Design Engineer
Location: Denver, CO
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000*
*Range depends on experience, certifications (CTS-D), and leadership scope.
CCS Presentation Systems – CO | WY is looking for a Senior AV Design Engineer to lead the design and engineering of complex, high-impact audiovisual systems across enterprise, healthcare, education, and government environments.

What you’ll do:
- Lead end-to-end design of complex AV systems (conference rooms, auditoriums, divisible spaces, command centers, and more)
- Produce detailed engineering documentation (signal flow diagrams, rack elevations, floor plans, BOMs)
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Project Management, and Installation teams from concept through commissioning
- Participate in client discovery, site surveys, and technical presentations
- Support RFP responses and develop value-engineered solutions
- Troubleshoot complex system design and implementation challenges
- Help define and maintain engineering standards and best practices
- Stay current on emerging technologies like AV-over-IP and unified communications platforms
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of AV design engineering experience in an integration environment
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Visio
- Deep knowledge of AV signal flow, control systems (Crestron, Extron, QSC), DSPs, and video distribution
- Experience with enterprise clients and complex environments
- Ability to interpret architectural, electrical, and network drawings
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
Preferred:
- CTS-D certification
- Experience with AV-over-IP (Dante, NVX, NDI, etc.)
- Familiarity with networking concepts (VLANs, QoS, multicast)
- Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco UC platforms
- Leadership or mentoring experience
