The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company’s risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.
The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.
The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo’s risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.
The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.
The Customer Remediation Center of Excellence Analytics Team is hiring for positions reporting to the Remediation Analytics managers, Data Operations manager, Transactional Testing manager, and the Inline Quality manager. These teams evaluate, test, design and implement high level regulatory remediations strategies, quality, and analytics.
The In-line quality team is responsible for driving first pass quality within our analytics, initially focusing on complex Tier 0/1 efforts. Other job responsibilities include:
- Performing and testing highly complex data analytics for customer remediations
- Provide end-to-end ownership of project including requirements development, testing, peer review, and data driven guidance/recommendations for remediation strategy
- Designing analysis projects flow and documentation that is structured for consistency, easy to understand, and to be offered to multiple levels of reviewers, partners, and regulatory agents demonstrating research and analysis completed
- Investigate and ensure data integrity from multiple sources
- Ensure data recommended and used is the best “source of truth”
- Applies knowledge of business, customers, and products to synthesize data to 'form a story' and align information to contrast/compare to industry perspective. Data involved typically very large, structured or unstructured, and from multiple sources.
- Must have a strong attention to detail and be able to meet high quality standards consistently
- Other duties as assigned by manager
- Willing to assist on high priority work outside of regular business hours or weekend as needed
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling demonstrated through work or military experience; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling
- 3+ years of SAS programming experience
- 3+ years of experience aggregating data from multiple systems of record
