About the Role
We are hiring an AI Engagement Lead to serve as the primary strategy and communication lead on client engagements. This role blends strategic consulting and relationship management with early product strategy. You will work with clients closely to support adoption, discover meaningful use cases, shape solutions and implementation plans, and guide the execution. Working alongside our technical team, you will set the strategic direction for accounts, manage the project lifecycle, and keep engagements moving forward to ensure successful AI adoption and innovation for our clients. With time, this has the potential to grow into a leadership role in which you will translate learnings into strategic playbooks and manage our client engagement function.
Responsibilities
- Shape engagements from the proposal stage: scope the work, outline the team, and align on goals with the client.
- Lead client relationships end-to-end and serve as the primary point of communication across all phases.
- Support client general adoption phase introducing a core toolkit, run or coordinate literacy sessions, office hours, and workshops.
- Drive the strategy stage: conduct audits and discovery, identify high-value and AI-feasible use cases, and translate them into a clear implementation plan.
- Oversee implementation across all three delivery paths, supported builds inside existing platforms, niche partner identification, and custom builds, keeping internal teams and client stakeholders aligned.
- Liaise with the client through the innovation phase as POCs, MVPs, and new products take shape.
- Set monthly goals and weekly incremental goals; run weekly client check-ins; deliver weekly progress summaries and more full monthly reports.
- Manage team members assigned to the account (including residents and engineers) and support them on strategy and communication.
- Stay close to the AI landscape, new tools, new partners, new approaches, and bring that perspective into client conversations and solutioning.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in consulting, account leadership, or client strategy with enterprise stakeholders.
- Proven ability to identify and test opportunities in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, especially with executive stakeholders.
- Project and account management experience; comfortable owning timelines, goals, and reporting cadences.
- Familiarity with AI/ML trends and genuine curiosity to keep pace with a fast-moving field.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable in early-stage, high-ownership environments
