The KNOW Women is a global media company that exists to amplify the voices of businesswomen through our publications and community. As the Administrative Event Coordinator, you will assist in bringing awareness to local female-run businesses to help keep the KNOW Women’s mission moving forward.

This is an entry level position which combines administrative and event coordination roles. We call this a generalist, traffic manager position. It's perfect for a fast paced well organized self starter that wants to grow with a mission based company.


Key Responsibilities: 


Administrative Assistant

  • General office duties, including managing calls and calendars, emails and website communications.
  • Set up all interviews with KNOW awards, i.e., 100 Women to KNOW, KNOW 40 Under 40 and KNOW Cares Grant Program.
  • Assist with sponsorship and partnerships, managing communications and follow up.
  • Manage storage facility, maintaining standards and ongoing inventory.
  • Work with HQ team on special projects, as assigned.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors on all KNOW events, including member dinners, Focused Conferences and the KNOW annual Summit.
  • Represent the KNOW Women at 3rd party conferences and social events, as directed.
  • Assist the Regional Account Managers with any 3rd party scheduling to ensure that publications are brought to a successful deadline.
  • Attend all KNOW Phoenix Social functions, and selected remote functions, as needed.


Events

  • Assist in the set up and takedown of all local KNOW events.
  • Work with local teams to ensure the event is up to KNOW brand standards.
  • Work with HQ on annual summit.
  • Plan travel & experiences for Winner’s Circle, PLATED Dinner and other mingles across the US.


Desired Characteristics:


  • Poised, with experience working with high-level business owners.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of technology, including Word, Excel and Google Documents.
  • Working knowledge of SLACK.
  • Self-driven, resilient, and coachable.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Self-starter that appreciates schedule flexibility and a level of independence.
  • Ability to travel, as needed.


Experience Requirements:


  • Prior Executive Assistant Experience a plus.
  • Must be able to provide a minimum of 3 professional references.
  • High School Graduate.  College degree preferred.
