Accounts Payable Clerk

This role is based onsite 40-45 hours weekly; remote work is not available.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Primary Responsibilities:

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions with the general ledger and prepare journal entries as required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all transactions, including account reconciliation and audit documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable and uphold internal controls that adhere to organizational standards.
• Fluently communicate through email with team members and vendors to ensure accuracy and timely payments.
• Must be able to use an accounting calculator, answer phones, have typing skills, organizational skills and efficiency to complete tasks timely.
