Accounting Clerk


LHH is looking for an Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk supports daily accounting operations across multiple locations. This role assists with transaction processing, documentation, payroll backup, and general accounting functions while working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial records. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $21 and $24/hr.


Responsibilities

  • Assisted with processing completed transactions, including reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepared and tracked title and lien documentation, ensuring proper filing and timely follow-up
  • Entered and reconciled transaction data within the accounting system
  • Supported deal processing by coordinating with internal departments to resolve discrepancies
  • Provided backup support for payroll processing, including data entry and verification
  • Applied payments and assisted with accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks as needed
  • Maintained organized financial records and supporting schedules
  • Responded to internal inquiries related to accounting transactions and documentation
  • Assisted with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations
  • Performed other accounting and administrative duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • 2+ year of experience in an accounting or clerical role
  • Experience with transaction processing, title documentation, or similar record-based work preferred
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
  • Familiarity with payroll processing support is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
