About the Company



Rose Valley Capital, a fully vertically integrated Real Estate Investment Firm based in Brooklyn, NY, is hiring an Accounting Operations Manager to oversee day‑to‑day bookkeeping, cash execution, and accounting operations across the firm.



About the Role



The Accounting Operations Manager will work directly for the Controller and CFO and be responsible for managing the financial operations of the firm, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and effective cash management.



Responsibilities



  • Bookkeeping for owner entities and management company books (QuickBooks, AppFolio)
  • Invoicing, payments, refunds, and exception queues
  • Payroll support and routine accounting follow‑ups
  • Cash setup and cash management — bank accounts, balances, transfers, wires
  • Coordination with banks, vendors, and external partners
  • Accounting systems and vendor implementations
  • Security deposit refunds and property‑level cash items
  • Closing support — documents, signatures, and checklists
  • Ownership of day‑to‑day accounting and admin issues



Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Experience in bookkeeping and accounting operations
  • Comfortable working across multiple entities and systems
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, strong follow‑through



Required Skills



  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and AppFolio
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles



Preferred Skills



  • Experience with financial reporting
  • Knowledge of real estate accounting practices
