Accounting Manager

Location: San Francisco, CA (Downtown / SOMA – onsite)

Work Model: Onsite (5 days/week initially; potential flexibility after ramp-up)

Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt

We’re hiring a hands-on Accounting Manager to join a fast-growing, tech-enabled organization with a strong focus on process improvement, automation, and scale. This is a high-visibility role with full ownership of the general ledger and close partnership with senior finance leadership.

What You’ll Do

Own the general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting (GAAP)
Manage and mentor a small, distributed accounting team
Drive process improvements, automation, and AI-enabled efficiencies
Partner closely with FP&A and leadership on reporting and analysis
Support audits, internal controls, and scalable accounting operations

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of progressive accounting experience
2+ years of people management experience
Bachelor’s in Accounting (CPA preferred, not required)
NetSuite experience strongly preferred
Background in public accounting + industry a plus
Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
