We are seeking a high-caliber Fixed Accounting Lead to join our team in Richardson, TX. This is a critical, 100% onsite role designed for a technical expert who thrives on applying advanced Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to complex financial operations.

This position is currently a temporary engagement, however, there is a strong potential to transition into a permanent role for a candidate who demonstrates exceptional leadership and technical architectural skills.

Compensation & Logistics
  • Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 (commensurate with experience).

  • Location: 100% Onsite (Richardson, TX).

  • Employment Type: Temporary with Permanent Potential.

Core Responsibilities

As the Fixed Accounting Lead, you will bridge the gap between high-level financial strategy and granular ledger management. Your duties include:

  • Systems & Process Architecture: Develop, recommend, and modify complex accounting systems, methods, and procedures to enhance financial controls.

  • Advanced Analysis: Perform highly specialized accounting tasks and provide complex analyses across various fiscal functions.

  • Financial Reporting & Policy: Develop major policies for financial reporting and cost analysis in specialized areas.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the preparation of budgets, reconcile accounting data, and present revenue projections and expenditure reports.

  • Operational Oversight: Maintain various ledgers, journals, and registers; classify expenditures; and ensure the accurate allocation of revenue to appropriate functions.

  • Leadership: Lead and direct the work of team members as needed to ensure departmental goals are met.

What We Are Looking For
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of related accounting experience.

  • Technical Expertise: * Highly specialized knowledge of public accounting and financial regulations.
  • Advanced mastery of GAAP and theories of financial statements.
  • Strong proficiency in computer technology related to accounting systems (ERP systems, complex data tools)
  • Attributes: A "builder" mindset with the ability to design controls and improve reporting speed and accuracy.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 Per Year
