Account Manager

The Account Manager role is responsible for delivering the highest level of service to our customers on a daily basis through detail driven order execution, timely responses to customer requests, and a strong ability to build and grow relationships. The Account Manager role will primarily focus on Truckload and expedite shipments, with some exposure to Drayage and LTL possible.

Responsibilities include:

• Act as the primary contact for key customer accounts on a daily basis
• Establish and grow relationships with customer contacts
• Build and execute orders from order creation through order completion
• Thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing business landscape
• Respond to customer request in a timely and professional manner
• Provide creative solutions to customers’ needs

Qualifications

• Customer Relationship Management and Client Communication skills
• Experience with Logistics Coordination and freight brokerage / 3PL
• Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution abilities
• Strategic Planning and Business Development experience
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field is a plus
• Previous work experience in logistics or freight management is highly preferred

We are seeking an individual with Drayage and/or Expedite sales experience, who would like to grow within this knowledge area as our team and organization expands. This hire will be a key early member to a pillar of the business, with additional growth opportunities ahead.
