Senior Wholesale Manager

Status: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Sherman Oaks, CA (5 days per week on-site)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, standard business hours. Occasional flexibility required for trade shows, market appointments, industry events, and client activations.

Salary Range: $120,000–$160,000 annually, based on experience


A popular, fashion-forward fine jewelry brand known for creating elevated, wearable pieces with a very loyal customer following and strong retail presence seeks a polished, fashion-forward, and highly motivated Senior Wholesale Manager. This person will drive growth across major and specialty wholesale accounts while expanding the brand's retail footprint both domestically and internationally.

This role is ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional with an established network within the luxury, contemporary fashion, and fine jewelry space. The successful candidate is a true hustler who thrives on opening doors, cultivating partnerships, generating new business, and growing revenue. They possess excellent instincts, strong follow-through, impeccable presentation skills, and a passion for representing a brand in the marketplace.

This individual will oversee account strategy, business development, sell-in performance, retailer relationships, and market expansion while serving as a key ambassador for the brand.


Key Responsibilities

Wholesale Growth & Business Development

• Manage and grow a portfolio of major and specialty wholesale accounts

• Identify, pitch, and onboard new domestic and international retail partners

• Leverage an existing network of buyers, planners, and industry contacts to drive new business opportunities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail decision-makers

• Develop strategic growth plans by account and region

• Drive seasonal and annual revenue goals across assigned accounts

Sales, Market & Account Management

• Lead seasonal sell-in presentations and assortment strategy discussions

• Curate assortments tailored to retailer needs and customer demographics

• Monitor sell-through performance and recommend reorders and assortment adjustments

• Represent the brand at market appointments, trade shows, showroom meetings, and industry events

• Track and validate orders post-market

• Develop and execute trunk shows, in-store events, private shopping experiences, and client activations

Operations & Reporting

• Oversee the order lifecycle from entry through fulfillment

• Maintain accurate account reporting and sales data within NetSuite

• Monitor open orders, inventory flow, and shipping timelines

• Ensure compliance with retailer requirements, routing guides, and EDI standards where applicable

• Analyze sales performance to identify opportunities and potential risks

• Partner with Finance on deductions, chargebacks, and account-related matters

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, Marketing, and Finance teams

• Collaborate with Marketing on launches, gifting initiatives, and wholesale activations

• Ensure consistent brand presentation across all retail partners


Qualifications

• 7+ years of wholesale sales or account management experience within fine jewelry, fashion, luxury, or contemporary brands

• Existing network of wholesale contacts across major retailers, specialty stores, and international accounts

• Proven track record of driving wholesale growth and opening new accounts

• Strong business development, networking, and relationship-building skills

• Experience managing wholesale sell-in processes and market appointments

• Experience executing trunk shows, events, and retail activations

• Strong understanding of retail math, inventory management, and forecasting

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
