Oxford Solutions is working with a retail and eCommerce client seeking a Content Specialist for a short-term contract assignment. This fully remote position will support the team with updating and maintaining product information on the company’s eCommerce website. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys writing, working with data, and supporting online product content. The contract is expected to last approximately three months.
Responsibilities
- Create and update product listings on the company’s eCommerce platform
- Write clear product titles, descriptions, and bullet points that help customers understand the product
- Upload and organize product images, videos, and other content assets
- Ensure product pages include complete and accurate information
- Review product listings to confirm content displays correctly and follows internal guidelines
- Maintain product information within internal content or product data systems
- Assist with correcting formatting or display issues on product pages
- Follow established processes for content updates and documentation
- Support the team with general content updates and improvements
Qualifications
- Some experience with data entry, content updates, or website content preferred
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of HTML formatting for online content
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, online systems, and digital content tools
- Ability to follow guidelines and maintain consistency across product listings
- Familiarity with SEO principles for product listings
- Interest in eCommerce, online content, or digital marketing is a plus
- Reliable and able to manage tasks in a remote work environment
