Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Base Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000, based on experience and qualifications

Incentive Compensation: Performance-based bonus opportunities

Reports To: Senior Leadership

Supervises: Warehouse and Production Personnel

Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday with early mornings, extended hours, no weekends

Work Environment: Industrial warehouse and production facility (indoor and outdoor)

Travel: Minimal, primarily local as needed

Position Summary

The Warehouse Manager is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse and production operations, including drumming, transloading, chemical storage, railcar steaming, shipping, and inventory handling. A candidate must have strong mechanical aptitude.


This role leads warehouse and production personnel, coordinates daily operational priorities, enforces safety standards, and ensures the facility operates efficiently and professionally.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

● Open and prepare the warehouse for daily operations

● Operate and monitor boilers and steam systems

● Connect and manage steam lines to railcars as required

● Coordinate daily production schedules

● Oversee drumming, transloading, storage, and shipping activities

● Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions

● Step into operational roles during busy periods or staffing shortages


Team Leadership

● Supervise warehouse and production personnel

● Conduct team meetings and communicate expectations clearly

● Train, coach, and develop employees

● Participate in hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary decisions

● Hold team members accountable for attendance, safety, and performance


Safety & Compliance

● Enforce company safety rules and operating procedures

● Ensure proper use of required PPE, including hard hats and safety goggles when working under railcars

● Maintain compliance with OSHA and company standards

● Support lockout/tagout, hazard communication, and other regulatory requirements

● Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready facility


Qualifications

● 3+ years of leadership experience in warehouse, industrial, manufacturing, or logistics operations preferred

● Forklift experience required

● Strong mechanical aptitude required

● Experience with industrial equipment, boilers, rail operations, or production systems preferred

● CDL or willingness to learn truck operations is a plus

● OSHA and industrial safety knowledge preferred

● Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills


Physical Requirements

● Stand and walk for extended periods

● Lift up to 50 pounds regularly

● Climb ladders and stairs

● Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

● Wear required PPE, including steel-toed footwear, gloves, hard hats, and safety glasses

● Pass any required drug screening, physical examination, and background check
