Responsibilities:
- Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, staging, stocking, and inventory control.
- Schedule and coordinate all deliveries to job sites using in‑house drivers and vendor logistics.
- Optimize delivery routes, truck loading, and scheduling to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure materials are available to support project timelines.
- Oversee warehouse staff and drivers, ensuring productivity, safety, and accountability.
- Support purchasing activities including vendor coordination and material sourcing.
- Monitor material costs and assist with budget adherence for project‑based work.
- Work closely with project managers and field teams to forecast material needs.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of warehouse management, logistics, or purchasing experience (construction or mechanical trades preferred).
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, piping, or mechanical materials (preferred).
- Experience with Vista Viewpoint or similar ERP systems (strong plus).
- Proven leadership experience supervising warehouse personnel or drivers.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
