Qualifications

  • 5–25+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 years as a lead superintendent on Commercial, industrial, warehouse, or tilt wall projects
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling software
  • Valid driver's license in state of residence

Responsibilities

  • Attend post-award review meetings and participate in preconstruction planning
  • Collaborate with the project manager on scheduling, staffing, and equipment planning
  • Direct and control all construction activities to meet specs, schedule, and budget
  • Assist with material procurement, shop drawing approvals, and equipment logistics
  • Coordinate and integrate subcontractor activities with project schedules
  • Communicate schedule changes promptly to all supervisors and subcontractors
  • Assist in preparing job progress and cost reports
  • Review and approve requisitions, field purchase orders, invoices, and related documents
  • Maintain open communication with the owner and their representatives
  • Conduct regular job site meetings and report progress, plans, and risks to the project manager
  • Maintain a daily project diary documenting significant events, contacts, and decisions
  • Enforce the company's safety program across all project phases
  • Demonstrate strong leadership: make timely decisions, manage multiple activities, and resolve conflict effectively
  • Uphold a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
  • Act with integrity in support of company values and customer expectations
