About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their growing Austin-based team. This is an urgent, high-impact hire for someone who wants to be part of a tight-knit group of passionate builders delivering high-quality commercial projects across Central Texas.
This is not a "just show up and manage the schedule" type of role. The team is looking for someone who genuinely loves construction and wants to be surrounded by others who share that same passion for building.
Project Types
- Class A Office Interiors (including high-end law firms)
- Adaptive Reuse / Historic Conversions
- High-End Retail & Restaurant Projects
- Specialty & High-End Concepts (boutique hospitality, wellness spaces, etc.)
Typical project sizes: $2M – $10M
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site construction activities from preconstruction through closeout
- Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics to ensure successful project delivery
- Collaborate with ownership and internal teams during early project planning and preconstruction phases
- Maintain quality control and enforce all safety standards on site
- Drive schedule performance and proactively resolve field issues
- Represent the company professionally during client interactions and jobsite meetings
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Qualifications
- 10+ years of commercial construction experience
- Proven experience as a lead Superintendent on projects ranging from $2M – $10M
- Strong background in commercial interiors and/or ground-up construction
- Comfortable participating in early-stage project planning and client-facing interactions
- Procore experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for construction and pride in delivering exceptional projects

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $135,000 – $165,000
- Bonus: 3% – 10% (historically exceeds targets)
- Mid-year raises and advancement opportunities
- Vehicle allowance: $550/month
- Phone allowance: $80/month
